This film gives us a close up view of a family living in Croatia. After the father has a stroke, the daughter and the only working member of the family must stay and support them, or possibly leave to save herself.

I love how the cramped quarters in which they live does an excellent job of magnifying the experiences of being a family together, and the struggles of those family members. Although our country and culture are quite different from theirs, I believe the dilemmas are common and recognizable.

I would recommend that you too take the time to enjoy this film. However, beware of the risky behaviours you will witness. They may be too close to home.
