THE BEGINNING OF EVERYTHING by Robyn Schneider

What a wonderfully written book.  As an adult who has already endured and learned from so many tragedies and losses, it was nice to be reminded again of the value that they hold.  For a younger person, particularly high school or early college age, this book is a must.

I believe that this novel is useful to help one manoeuvre through the challenges of peers, popularity and managing change.  But mostly, I hope this book helps with identity — finding out who you really are; a lifelong  journey for all of us.

To be blunt, I found it very refreshing to have a novel put tragedy in perspective and not feel the need to have a happy ending.  Way to go author.
